We are most obviously a large family, the politically correct term being: Quiverfull minded. Essentially, that means we allow God to bless us with as many children as He sees fit. We make no apologies for our decision, and we have no long dissertation on the subject here, but there are many web sites that do. Yes, it is highly unusual in today's world and from time to time we get flack over it.
We are neither Mormon nor are we Catholic (Roman). Although, we were once almost Mennonite, our view on children started a long time ago when we were still "Evangelicals."
But, like our fellow quiverfull evangelicals, we do have a few other similarities (stereotypes). Our children are homeschooled, and all of our children were born at home except for Judith, she was born at a birthing center.
Many people can't understand "how" we do it. But fear not, neither do we! All I know is that there is a lot of grace involved.
